Health is the ultimate human good. A prudent man should take care of it from his youth, so that he and his family can enjoy a carefree life. Do not think that you have to make a tremendous effort to achieve this goal. Daily tips:
- Don't smoke. If the smoker decides to do so, he/she will be giving the best gift to himself/herself.
- Do exercise. Whatever you like. Usually we cardiologists recommend walking at least 30 minutes / 5 days a week. You will find what works for you. There are so many activities around us. I remember, for example, a lady who, after much urging from me, found a solution in dancing.
- Watch your weight. Many obese people get frustrated and stop trying. Be aware that with a few pounds you can see results you don't expect in hypertension, diabetes and especially in your stamina and mood. This will motivate you to keep going.
- Mediterranean diet. It is the standard internationally. Do not forget it. Plenty of vegetables, fruits and olive oil on the table. Eat fish and less meat and animal products. Dairy products with less fat.
