"To be beneficial or at least not harmful"
Based on this saying, I walk in the magical world of cardiology and the science of medicine! I have always felt a keen interest in human biology and the mechanisms that govern it, until I decided that cardiology is the field that will give me the ability to "benefit" and save lives!
I deal with the full spectrum of Clinical Cardiology, with particular emphasis on heart failure, cardiomyopathies, coronary artery disease and structural heart disease. I undertake all procedures of modern Interventional Cardiology that allow the treatment of most cases of structural and degenerative heart problems without the need to resort to open surgery.
Every patient deserves the best possible treatment, with the aim of solving his problem, improving his symptoms and, as far as possible, not allowing the disease to limit his life span. I always discuss the available treatment options with patients and their families, particularly if there is a risk of complications.
The aim is to offer the greatest benefit to the patient with the fewest possible complications, a variation, that is, of the hippocratic "To be beneficial or at least not harmful".
